Internship Opportunity: Steel Advertising & Interactive, Inc.

Steel Advertising & Interactive, Inc. is a full-service advertising and interactive agency in Austin, supporting both national and regional clients. Steel is a collective of national creative, marketing and technical talents that offer their clients brand development advertising, media planning & buying, and interactive development.

The Public Relations intern will write press materials such as press releases and public newsletters, pitch media, submit publication lists, manage media databases, monitor and respond to social media outlets, assist in event planning, review publications for local and national editorial coverage, log press clips and editorial coverage, and work on miscellaneous projects that may arise.
*Qualifications: Must be able to work in MS Word and Excel and possess good business writing skills.

Must be a current student pursuing either a bachelors or masters degree.

Last Meeting of the Semester

Please join us for our last meeting of the semester on Wednesday, April 29th 2009, in Fleck Hall  at 8:00 PM as we pass along the torch to next year’s executive board and welcome our guest Lindsey Erwin. 

Light refreshments will be provided. Come mingle, hear what PRSSA is up to, and start looking ahead to summer and Fall plans.

Rising Star Award

Congratulations St. Edward’s PRSSA!

The St. Edward’s University PRSSA chapter has WON the Recognized Student Organization – Rising Star Award.

Rising Star Award:
Presented to the recognized student organization that has distinguished themselves during their first year of existence on campus or any recognized organization that has shown remarkable improvement over the past year. The winner receives an award as well as $50 for their organization.
